Won't start

I have a 95 Laguna. This morning, the electronic button to unlock the car doesn't work. I can open the car with the key manually, but this Laguna won't start unless it is locked/unlocked with the electronic device. I have changed the battery and the key still doesn't work? Is there any way around this problem when I have my key in hand? How can I start my car?
