Won't start

The electronic unlock button of my key doesn't work this morning on my 95 Laguna. I can open the car with the key manually but on this model, the electronic locking/unlocking of the car is required to allow ignition. I have changed batteries but still no luck. Is there anyway to start my car when I have my key in hand? Can I override this security setting?

You cant override this function on the car. I think you have problems in the reciver up in the roof. On these models it can rain in where the antenna is placed on the roof. Then the remote dosent work. So if you make sure its not leaking from the antenna and clean the reciver i think you can make it work again =) (Sorry for my bad english thou =) )

I have the exact problem, did you manage to solve it? in that case congrats, and how did you do it. I didnt quite understand what i have to do. Could you give me a better explanation i swedish[:)]. How do i clean it?
